Please come out and help this young girl. The cost of admission is only $5.00 ...and there will be food available and 2 bands performing...Street Level and The Chain. The Chain is a Fleetwood Mac Tribute band. Also there will be a solo artist performing as well. Everything starts at noon and will continue until 5:00 The solo artist is on at noon, SLB will be on from 1:30-3:00 and The Chain will finish out the day. This will be held at the West Leechburg Firehall @ 1116 Gosser St. West Leechburg. Come out and give, believe me you will be blessed by giving to someone in need like this girl. You have the rare opportunity to make an impact on the life of this young girl, don't waste that opportunity. Have a very merry and blessed Christmas, we hope to see you there!

    4 December Update
            12.01.11

Well Christmas is 24 days away and Street Level is finishing out the year with only two more shows to go. We all have families so usually after the second week of December we break until after New Years. We had a year of change in 2011. We lost some long time players this year who will be sorely missed and gained some great new musicians as well. God willing 2012 looks to be a very busy and promising year for us. In January we will start in earnest to craft a new set to incorporate the talents of our newest musicians and further explore ways to utilize and showcase the wonderful existing talents within the band. I know are docket includes some Adele, Aretha Franklin, Bonnie Raitt, and Pat Benatar to showcase our new singer Lydia. Also we will be picking up some Huey Lewis, more Chicago, Bryan Adams, and Bo Bice to allow Patrick to shine his wonderful talent out to the crowd. There are some rockin' blues coming your way that will show off our new horn player George Dorow and his great harp ability as well as play to Scott's natural blues tendencies. Lot's of great things ahead. Keep checking the site and go out to Facebook and like us there as well. Updates on our shows and what we are up to show up on there periodically, in addition to our daily quotes. Street Level would like to wish all of you a very wonderful and blessed Christmas and a safe and happy New Year.

    4 November Shows
            11.03.11

Hi All, just a note to detail our November shows. We only have one that can be attended by the public this month. The rest are private shows. So our next show will be at the Millerstown Inn on November 12th. We start @ 9:30. If you have not heard us with the new personnel then do yourself a favor and come on out I know you will have a great time.

Also just an FYI kind of a feather in our cap on Nov. 25 we will be playing for Cardinal Wuerl and many Pittsburgh dignitaries at the Lemont this is a fund raiser for one of the catholic schools the Cardinal had oversight for before he became the Cardinal for Washington D.C. Once again this is a private event but we hope you wish us well!

    4 New members
            10.03.11

Street Level would like to welcome three new members to the Street Level team. We have added Lydia Rudolf to the band. You may have seen her playing with a band called Crude Earl or sitting in with our friend Mike Lendyak. She is a wonderful vocalist with a great ear for harmony. We also would like to welcome George Dorow to Street Level. George will be playing tenor sax, harmonica and doing some singing for us. George is a great sax player and plays a mean harp. You may have seen George with a band called The Bad Habits. Finally we would like to welcome Randy Roads to Street Level he will be running sound for Street Level. Randy has run sound for many of the Pittsburgh luminaries as well as some national acts. They will be starting with us on 10/14 @ Peter B's come out and see the new additions to Street Level.

    4 August Shows
            08.01.11

Due to vacations we have just a couple of shows this month both on the same weekend. First on August 20th we will be back at Peter B's from 9:30-1:00. Always a good time out there. Then on Sunday August 21st we will be back at the Fairground Market for one of Tom Taylor's car cruises. If you have never attended on of these shows try to make this one. Tom has a buffet spread that is second to none at a really reasonable price. There are great cars and good music to boot. How can you lose. This is a great way to spend a lazy summer Sunday evening. We start at 5:00 and play until 8:00.

Hope to see you at one of these great spots this month!

    4 Upcoming Shows
            06.20.11

Hello all you Levelheads! If Buffet can have Parrot Heads and the Grateful Dead can have Dead Heads we figured we can Levelheads. We just wanted to share some information on some upcoming shows in the near future. This weekend we are heading out to Deep Creek, MD. for a show at one of our favorite venues, The Honi Honi! If you have never been to Deep Creek, consider coming down. There is beautiful lake down there for boating, fishing, skiing, any water activity you can think of. And the premier hot spot is the Honi Honi. It sits right on the lake and is a Tiki type bar with a thatched roof etc., a really fun place. We are down there this Friday 6/24 from 5-8. So for our Uniontown fans and all you southern Pittsburgh fans this should be a no brainer. All the rest of you give it some consideration it's only an hour and half from the city and 2 1/2 from some of the north Pittsburgh towns. Then on Saturday 6/25 we will be at the Leetsdate Police Car Cruise from 11-2. There will be at least 75 classic cars on display as well as 30 police cruisers and SWAT vehicles. They are also plan police dog and stun gun demonstrations and of course live music from none other than STREET LEVEL. We would love to see you all at one of these events this weekend. Make sure you come up and introduce yourself to us. Finally, SLB has merchandise for sale. We have really nice polo type shirts as well as collared button down and hoodie pull-overs all bearing the BEAUTIFUL Street Level logo. We also have ball caps, visors, frisbees, drink cozies, etc. So the next time you come to see us take a look at all the SLB goodies and treat yourself!

    4 Waves Of Thunder
            06.06.2011

Just wanted to mention that we will be playing the Waves Of Thunder festival this Sunday 6/12 from 1-4pm. We are right along the river in the outdoor amphitheater they have down there. It's a very cool venue. There are plenty of food vendors and craft booths as well as a lot of nice bikes. It should be a great time.

    4 News Flash
            05.20.11

Well a couple of band members have taken me to task about keeping up the news for SLB so here is the latest!

We regret to announce that Will Guess is not longer with us. His job in the Aliquippa school system is keeping him really busy and he had to move on. However he has consented to being a sub for us when we need him so I am sure you will see him some time in the future.

I am happy to announce that we have a new lead trumpet that has recently joined us. Please welcome Jeff Martin to Street Level.

He actually has already done two shows with last weekend and did a GREAT job. Please come out and hear the new band now that we have Jeff, Wendy, and Mike in place.

Also for those of you who have facebook accounts please consider "Liking" us on facebook.

Just search for Street Level Band and you should have no trouble finding us.

If you choose to become our facebook friend we will be able to send you invitations to our shows and that will help to get the word about when you can come see us next.

We have some great shows coming up this summer so come out and see us some time!

    4 Founding Member Departs
            01.18.10

This is a season of change for Street Level. One of the founding members of Street Level has stepped down. John Mossman (Mossy) has decided to leave Street Level. He has been a rock of strength and a fountain of wisdom for Street Level. We want to thank him for everything that he has done for us and wish him the best in his new endeavors. That being said, we would like to welcome Mike Bajsec to the band. He has been our first call substitute sax player for years and is a very talented and experienced player. Please join us in welcoming Mike to Street Level.

            11.08.10

Street Level wishes to extend their apologies to anyone who came out to hear us last Saturday at the Clerview Mall. Afer hearing the band that went on before use the mall authorities felt that the band would be too loud for the mall and asked us not to play. I know some of you came along way to hear us and once again I do apologize but this was a circumstance beyond our control. Please come out to the Butler American Legion this coming Saturday 11/13 from 9-1 and we will do our best to have a great show for you. We hope to see you there.

            10.19.10

We have finally recorded a NEW LIVE DEMO and have put it on the music page of our site. We recorded this at a live show so everything you hear is us without any studio magic. What you hear is what you get so to speak!

Check it out and let us know what you think!

    4 Movin' On Up
            09.03.10

Well after a few years of playing the food court at Applefest in Franklin, Pa., we have been invited to be the headliner on the main stage. Needless to say we are excited for the opportunity and want all our fans to look for us on the main stage this year from 2-4 on Sunday October 3rd. See you there!

    4 Thank You!
            07.19.10

Street Level would like to thank Cheryl Palmiere for sitting in with us for the last few shows. Cheryl has never formally sang with a band and she stepped up to the plate and did a great job for us when we were in a pinch. Thanks again Cheryl!

    4 Welcome
            07.19.10

Street Level would like to welcome two new vocalists to the group. While Patrick Mihalyi has been singing with us since January we have never formally announced him as a member. He has been a great addition to the band and is a great entertainer. If you have never seen us with Patrick do yourself a favor and come out and enjoy a great vocalist and wonderful entertainer.

Our newest addition is Jenny Baik. Jenny has just joined us. She is originally from California and is a recent Yale graduate. Jenny has done a lot of work with the Yale vocal groups. She has a great ear for harmony and a great lead voice as well. We believe she will be a great addition to the entertainment component of the band also. Jenny will be working in very quickly so please come out and welcome her to the band.
